Media extraordinaire Fatimah Abu Bakar is a journalism graduate from the Mara Institute of Technology (UiTM), having worked with The New Straits Times Press for 26 years as a reporter, entertainment editor, features editor and Life&Times editor. Her vast experience in media and entertainment is evident from her great involvement in a myriad of films, theatre productions and TV shows – be it through acting, coaching or dancing. Last year, she acted in Khabir Bhatia’s ‘Cinta’. Many popular actors today owe their awards and fame to her coaching. Fatimah is currently a full time media consultant and acting coach; and the proud mother of four female actors – Sharifah Aleya, Sharifah Amani, Sharifah Aleysha and Sharifah Aryana.
