Affectionately known as ‘Dale’, Mahadzir started as a news presenter and host for a variety of programmes on TV. His flair for languages became evident as he began introducing the French language to the Malaysian public throughout the course of his career. His affable personality saw him becoming a much sought-after Master of Ceremonies at many functions, both local and international. Among Mahadzir’s other awards include the Best Newscaster/Broadcast Award in 1999 by Monsieur magazine and the Quintessential Man of The Year in 1998 by the Malaysian Tatler.
