With four decades of performing arts experience, this celebrated actor, director, writer and presenter started off in the late ‘60s, having wrote and directed over 50 TV dramas and 30 plays. He also acted in over 100 TV dramas and plays. In the ‘80s, Dato’ Rahim repeatedly won awards for Best Director, Best Writer, Best Actor in the Malaysian Film Festival and the Seri Angkasa TV Awards. Acted in 15 feature films, his most recent roles were in Puteri Guning Ledang and Cinta. This award-winning sports commentator also anchored the Olympics and the World Cup. In 1993, he received the Asean Award for Excellence in Performing Arts and in 2002, the Astro Lifetime Award for Performing Arts.
