<p>Since Chew took the helm in November 2023, the Main Market-listed household name has been focusing on restructuring its operations to drive long-term value for its shareholders.</p>

<p>To position itself for future growth, Pensonic has conducted an inventory write-down of RM6 mil during the last quarter of its financial year ended May 31, 2024.</p>
<p>This strategic decision was made after considering historical sales trends, inventory ageing and product life cycles. This “kitchen-sinking” approach which is aimed at making the balance sheet healthier is expected to prepare the company for a stronger financial future.</p>
<p>With a renewed focus on innovation, Pensonic is preparing to launch a range of new home appliances designed to meet the needs of modern households.</p>
<p>In this regard, Chew has played a crucial role in streamlining the company’s operations, reducing costs and improving overall productivity while driving the group’s product development strategy forward.</p>
<p>“We are confident that Pensonic’s transformation will resonate with today’s consumers, particularly as Malaysia’s household consumption remains a key driver of economic growth,” commented Chew.</p>

<p>As part of its digital transformation, Pensonic has partnered with popular social media influencers, particularly on TikTok.</p>
<p>Collectively known as “Pensonic Friends”, these influencers will help Pensonic engage with the younger tech-savvy consumers. This initiative marks an essential step in leveraging digital marketing to reignite Pensonic’s brand presence across Malaysia.</p>
<p>“Our strategic focus on product innovation and digital engagement ensures that we remain relevant to modern households while continuing to deliver the quality and trust that Pensonic is known for,” envisages Chew.</p>
<p>“Research has shown that digital marketing, especially through platforms like TikTok can significantly boost brand awareness and drive consumer engagement, thus making it a key pillar of Pensonic’s strategy to expand its market share in the household appliance industry.”</p>
<p>At 2.43pm, Pensonic was up 5 sen or 11.36% to 49 sen with 20,000 shares traded, thus valuing the company at RM77 mil. – Sept 25, 2024</p>

Pensonic Holdings Bhd (PHB) melaksanakan inisiatif digital baharu danstrategi transformasi yang menumpukan kepada inovasi bagi melancarkan rangkaian peralatanrumah baharu untuk memenuhi keperluan isi rumah.</p>
<p>Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan, Datuk Dixon Chew Chuon Jin berkata, perbelanjaan penggunaMalaysia diunjurkan berkembang sebanyak 4.2% pada 2024 didorong peningkatan permintaanperkakas rumah pintar dan cekap tenaga.</p>
<p>Di bawah kepimpinan Dixon, PHB memberi fokus kepada penstrukturan semula operasinya bagimemacu nilai pemegang saham bagi jangka panjang.</p>
<p>Beliau juga menyelaraskan operasi syarikat sejak mengambil alih pada November 2023, di bawahkepimpinannya, kumpulan berjaya mengurangkan kos serta meningkatkan produktiviti sambilmemacu strategi pembangunan produk syarikat ke hadapan.</p>
<p>Kumpulan itu juga telah menjalankan penurunan nilai inventori sebanyak RM6 juta pada suku terakhirtahun kewangannya, yang berakhir pada 31 Mei 2024 (4QFY24).</p>
<p>Keputusan strategik itu dibuat selepas mempertimbangkan trend jualan, inventori dan kitaran hayatproduk.</p>
<p>Pendekatan &#8216;kitchen-sinking&#8217;, yang bertujuan untuk menjadikan kunci kira-kira lebih sihat, dijangkamenyediakan syarikat untuk masa depan kewangan yang lebih kukuh.</p>
<p>Aset ketara bersih (NTA) semasa syarikat berada pada RM1.06 sesaham, jauh melebihi hargasemasanya iaitu 50 sen.</p>
<p>Sebagai sebahagian daripada transformasi digitalnya, PHB telah bekerjasama dengan pengaruhmedia sosial yang popular, terutamanya di TikTok.</p>
<p>Pengaruh ini, secara kolektif dikenali sebagai &#8216;Rakan Pensonic,&#8217;di mana mereka akan membantu PHBberinteraksi dengan pengguna yang lebih muda dan celik teknologi.</p>

<p>KUALA LUMPUR: Pensonic Holdings Bhd (Pensonic), syarikat pengeluar dan pengedar peralatan elektrik rumah yang tersenarai di Bursa Malaysia berada di ambang masa depan yang lebih cerah dengan pelaksanaan inisiatif digital baharu dan strategi transformasi.</p>
<p>Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan Pensonic, Datuk Dixon Chew Chuon Jin, berkata Pensonic menumpukan pada penstrukturan semula operasinya untuk memacu nilai jangka panjang bagi pemegang saham dengan meletakkan syarikat ke arah strategi moden dan kecemerlangan operasi.</p>
<p>&#8220;Pensonic kini memanfaatkan pengalaman syarikat selama beberapa dekad dengan beralih kepada strategi moden untuk terus berkembang dalam era digital di mana aset ketara bersih (NTA) syarikat adalah sebanyak RM1.06 sesaham, jauh melebihi harga saham semasa iaitu 50 sen.</p>
<p>&#8220;Pensonic juga telah menjalankan pengurangan inventori sebanyak RM6 juta pada suku terakhir tahun kewangan yang berakhir pada 31 Mei 2024,&#8221; katanya dalam satu kenyataan.</p>
<p>Chuon Jin berkata, keputusan strategik ini dibuat setelah mengambil kira trend jualan, penuaan inventori dan kitaran hayat produk dengan pendekatan seperti &#8216;kitchen-sinking&#8217; yang bertujuan untuk mengukuhkan kunci kira-kira dan dijangka menyediakan masa depan kewangan yang lebih kukuh.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dengan fokus baharu terhadap inovasi, Pensonic sedang bersiap untuk melancarkan rangkaian peralatan rumah baharu yang direka untuk memenuhi keperluan isi rumah moden.</p>
<p>&#8220;Kami yakin bahawa transformasi Pensonic akan mendapat sambutan daripada pengguna masa kini, dengan perbelanjaan isi rumah di Malaysia kekal sebagai pemacu utama pertumbuhan ekonomi.</p>
<p>&#8220;Perbelanjaan pengguna di Malaysia dijangka meningkat sebanyak 4.2 peratus pada tahun 2024, didorong oleh peningkatan pendapatan boleh guna dan permintaan yang meningkat untuk peralatan rumah yang pintar dan cekap tenaga,&#8221; katanya.</p>
<p>Beliau berkata, Pensonic berada pada kedudukan yang baik untuk memenuhi keperluan yang semakin berubah.</p>
<p>&#8220;Fokus strategik kami terhadap inovasi produk dan penglibatan digital memastikan kami kekal relevan kepada isi rumah moden sambil terus menyampaikan kualiti dan kepercayaan yang dikenali oleh Pensonic,&#8221; katanya.</p>
<p>Sementara itu, katanya, penyelidikan menunjukkan bahawa pemasaran digital, terutamanya melalui platform seperti TikTok, boleh meningkatkan kesedaran jenama secara signifikan dan memacu penglibatan pengguna, menjadikannya tonggak utama strategi Pensonic untuk mengembangkan bahagian pasarannya dalam industri peralatan rumah.</p>
